Rita Modl was born in 1983 near Munich, Germany. She worked in a boring bank job before studying Fotodesign and has been working as a Fotodesigner since 2010.

Rita has also been working as a boardgame designer since 2016. Games include Men at work, Hoppytop, and King of 12.

Kirsten Lunde is a designer/publisher working on a classical music themed engine builder called Ovation, coming to KS soon. Ovation was sparked by her kids, family gaming, and learning through play.

Kirsten is also the winner of the 2022 ELL deck game design contest with Questabell.

Glenn Ford was the Lead Developer for Osprey Game’s Gaslands and Gaslands: Refuelled, as well as A Billion Suns with Mike Hutchinson. He also successfully Kickstarted three titles: SSO, Moonflight, and Turing.

Glenn's background involves degrees in Psychology and Philosophy and careers with the London Fire Brigade, Events Management and Construction.

Kathleen Mercury, M.A.T., M.E.T., was teaching gifted middle school students for 15 years, before moving to Transylvania.

Kathleen cohosts the Games in Schools and Libraries and On Board Games podcasts. Her game Greece Lightning was published, with more on the way. Kathleen thinks happiness comes from being able to create the life you want, and she feels very fortunate that she's been able to do that.

Eric Reuss is a board game designer responsible for Spirit Island, and the event ParanoiaFest (a semi-live-action full-weekend multi-GM Paranoia RPG that ran once a year during the 90s). He hopes to top these in the future, but is no rush, as parenting has taught him some lessons in patience, and in interleaving smaller projects among the huge ones.
